How do we do it?
Our system is a hardware-software solution. A smartphone running the FREE DrivingBuddy app for android or iPhone serves as the data collection device, although other hardware can be used. Collected data is uploaded to our data analysis server that converts the raw data to actionable information. To make it easy for users to view and understand this information from virtually anywhere an internet connection exists, browser-based software was developed to allow users to interactively replay their data and see where a vehicle traveled, when, how fast and other information. Sophisticated statistical routines provide automated, predictive risk assessment of the resulting data.
